Overview
KiliLink processes identity and basic profile information from Google sign-in, saved vehicle details and photos, conversation text and images, reading languages and read status for access, listings and communication. The message form stores email and content; Newsletter separately records subscription requests and consent, without automatically subscribing message senders.
Before you start
Location features use network IP information; device location requires browser permission. Original vehicle images may also contain capture-location metadata. Tencent Maps resolves relevant locations for location information or draft defaults, not registration-country decisions. Refusing device location does not stop IP-based location processing.
Services include Google authentication, Supabase data and image storage, and Vercel and Railway hosting. Vehicle photos are processed with Zhipu AI for recognition, chat text and vehicle descriptions with Agnes for translation, and necessary place names may also receive AI-assisted translations. These services receive information needed for their functions; processing is not necessarily limited to Tanzania.
Images and text have different access rules. Vehicle images, including unpublished originals, and chat images use publicly readable links; originals may contain plates, people or location metadata. Anyone with a link can read the image without signing in. Unpublishing does not delete images or guarantee removal of downloaded or cached copies. Avoid identity documents or unrelated sensitive images unsuitable for public access. Account details and chat text remain access-controlled.
The site integrates Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for traffic statistics and performance. Information may include page addresses, referrals, device, browser, region and loading measurements. Aggregated analytics does not mean the whole site processes no personal information. For access, correction, deletion requests or privacy questions, contact david@discoversimba.com with the relevant account or page, without passwords. Handling requires identity, data-scope and applicable-requirement checks; no immediate deletion or uniform deadline is promised here. The formal operating entity, category-specific retention periods, processing grounds and international arrangements need further confirmation. This explanation is not a compliance certification.
