Cross-language communication

Overview

Renters can choose Simplified Chinese, English, Spanish, Italian, German, French or Arabic; drivers and owners can choose Simplified Chinese or English. The interface language supplies the default reading language for chat, which you can also choose separately in chat. A separate chat choice takes priority, and preferences are not shared between the two sides.

Before you start

Original messages are kept and are not rewritten when you change language. When a translation is ready, you can read it and expand the original; while waiting or after a translation failure, the original remains visible. You can retry a failed translation. Message text is not restricted to the interface languages.

Successfully sent text and images, together with completed translations, are saved in the conversation and can be viewed after refreshing or reopening it. An unfinished image upload is not a sent message. Images are not automatically translated as text. Check dates, amounts, routes and agreements against the original with the provider before making arrangements.
