Overview

Kenya’s safari destinations include Maasai Mara and Amboseli, but they are not the same vehicle-service area. State whether you start in Nairobi, at your accommodation or another pickup point, and list each destination so the provider can assess the actual route.

Before you start

Decide whether you need a vehicle for the whole road trip or local transfers after a flight. Specify the camp or airfield, dates and group size, and ask how transfers, wildlife drives and driver arrangements fit together. Check park entry, accommodation and vehicle prices separately rather than comparing offers only by country name.
