Overview

Northern Tanzania’s safari circuit includes Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. Before enquiring about a vehicle, list the parks you actually plan to visit, each overnight stop and the final drop-off point instead of describing the whole trip only as a northern safari.

Before you start

Plan transfers between parks separately from wildlife drives. Tell the provider your passenger count, luggage and camera equipment, ask whether the vehicle suits the specific roads, and check which driver, fuel, park and accommodation costs are included. Confirm current access arrangements with the relevant park authority.
