Overview

Ngorongoro Conservation Area includes the crater and other attractions. Transit through the area, travel to accommodation and a visit to the crater floor are different requirements. State your intention clearly; passing through Ngorongoro does not mean a crater visit is included.

Before you start

Provide your accommodation location and planned entry and exit dates, then ask how the driver will combine a crater visit with onward travel. Confirm vehicle, conservation-area and crater-related charges separately and whether the quote includes them. Consult NCAA for current rules and charges.

If adding walking, cultural or other activities, check personnel and permissions with the activity organiser before arranging transfers.
